We finally had some veggies ready to pick, YAY!! The corn are small but they were very yummy (we had them for dinner last night). The pumpkins are small too but I think they're meant to be cause they're called golden nuggets. Hubby checked the carrots and they are growing but are still fairly small so we may have them soon as baby carrots if they don't grow much bigger. Alas we had no luck with our zucchini plants and the tomato plants have grown well and flowered but we have no tomatoes :-(Brett's dad is a veggie gardener and he thinks the spot we have the tomoatoes and zucchinis probably doesn't get enough sun, so we'll have to rethink the planting strategies. But still it's very exciting to be able to eat some things that started out as seeds in yogurt pots :-)

oh yummo! Well done!! There is nothing like growing your own veges and being able to eat food that you yourself have planted, I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Well done! Our sweetcorn is still growing and our tomatoes, too, but it will be a while until we start picking them. Our season is obviously later than yours.
We did try planting pumpkins, but they don't like our soil, and we only ended up harvesting two very small butternuts - maybe we'll try again next year.
Have a great week,
Blessings,
Jillian
